The Talalay production method, invented by Joseph Talalay during World War II, is a longer, more complex process than the Dunlop method, which often creates an inconsistent construction that affects comfort and durability. Pure Talalay uses natural, sustainably sourced rubber tree sap, which is poured into a mold, whipped to create an aerated cell structure, vacuumed to extract air, and frozen prior to curing and quality testing. This prevents particles from settling, ensuring consistency in quality and feel from top to bottom.
